This iconic NYC coffee cup offers excellent Ancient Greek-style xenia (hospitality)

Got a burning question? Want to chat about some of the teachings and translations I've released lately? Fancy a cup of something warm whilst chatting about arcane esoteric topics?

Join me and other Sustaining Subscribers this

*** Sunday, October 27th (2-3:30pm EST) ***

for a pop-up open chat that I’m hoping will become a template for future events.

Here’s the agenda:

  • Opening Hymn (Mneumosyne)

  • Brief chat about my plans for this substack

  • Open Q&A

  • Breakout rooms and share-in time

  • Closing Invocation (new translation of the golden tablet from my Astromagia talk)

Scroll to the end of the post for the link and pertinent info.

My favorite teacup for herbal teas.

More about this Live Chat and what it means for the growing Mysteria Mundi community:

As I’ve been considering how to best move this substack forward given my Long Covid health issues and my need to carve out more time to translate, I’m coming to realize that my best work is done when I’m balancing alone time translating with open-ending conversation with like-minded souls.

To that end, I’d like to experiment for the next few months (at least through the end of the year, and perhaps going forward indefinitely) with the following format:

  • I release one new translation per month (which may sound like not so much, but actually requires a HUGE amount of research and consideration to uncover the esoteric meanings hidden in the texts)

  • The translation will contain minimal written commentary, given that the essays require a TON of cognitive energy to write (which can be a scarce resource for me due to Long Covid)

  • Instead of written commentary, I’ll host monthly Live Chats that will vary in format, but will always include Q&A in which we can dive into the hymn translation and/or any other questions you have

  • I’ll continue to release audio clips and podcast material as I’m able, with a view to keeping much of that work completely free and available to the public.

Overall, my goal is to lean into what I CAN do well (talk, translate, record raw audio and video) while minimizing what is really hard for me to do cognitively right now (write detailed commentaries, plan complex teaching cycles, edit said audio-visual stuff).

Phew! That’s a lot of info. I can explain more/answer questions on Sunday. Below you’ll find the links etc you’ll need for the chat.
