We go DEEP in this five-month exploration of some of the key hymns in the Orphic collection, using art, music, astronomical and astrological visuals, and LOTS of philosophical and cultural context to get at the hidden esoteric meaning behind the original Greek of the hymns.

And in doing that, we reveal the mystical animist roots of”Western” astrology and magic. (“Western” in quotes because we’re really talking about a tradition that spans the entire Mediterranean basin, with profound repercussions for all subsequent astrological traditions—from Greek to Christian to Islamicate and even Vedic traditions.)
