An IG live chat and some sexy classtime with our Erotic Cosmos
YO….it’s been a crazy inspiring week, and I have two fantastic collaborations coming up that I’m hoping to see you at:
Sunday, Feb 12th at 7pm EST I will be a guest on CV Henriette’s Astro Talk live chat (Her IG:@art_of_the_zodiac)! Tune in as we chat about my pathway to the Orphic Hymns, what the poems teach us about each planet’s personality, and how the poems can help us deepen our relationship with the cosmos. It’s FREE! And we’ll also take questions from you all, ofc, so please come join the fun!
And…on Feb 18th at 2pm EST, it’s sexy time with the cosmos! Inspired by my essay “Modernity as Prophylaxis: A Queer Screed on being Penetrated by the World,” my good buddy (and queer astro icon) Drew Levanti invited me to guest teach a class for his Initiate course. The topic? Our erotic cosmos, of course!
In the two-hour class, we’ll learn more about how the Orphic Hymns offer us a new and ancient paradigm for interacting with the earth and starry sky—one that is based on erotic connection rather than dry and disconnected capitalist models of extraction. And how both total newbies to spirituality and folx with a deep existing practice can benefit from engaging with the cosmos through the lens of these beautiful poems.
